Welcome to SSC East
All good things must come to an end, but in this case they just get better!
Leading U.S. kart importer and distributor SSC East has become CRG America as part of the company's greater alignment and dedication as CRG's premier representative in the United States. The move signifies the company's greater focus and support not only for the CRG chassis line, but also Maxter and Sonic Engines.
"The U.S. karting industry is evolving - CRG, Maxter and Sonic are premier players enjoying tremendous success in America. We're very proud to closely align our business with them. Our mission has always been to provide the very best products and services to our customers. Strengthening our relationship with CRG serves that mission perfectly," states Dave Davies, CRG America Director of Operations. "CRG has the most robust R&D and product development in the sport - their new factory in Lonato Del Garda is the best, most advanced facility I've ever seen. It's no surprise CRG pilots' success is unparalleled - they continue to pile-up national and international championships. I'm thrilled to bring an even greater commitment of excellence to our customers."
With the move, CRG America will provide racers with greater trackside support across the country as well as increased access to CRG's technical knowledge and assistance. It also enhances CRG America's involvement in product development for America - another important benefit for their customers.
"Having a greater role in product development is big. Feedback we get from our customers will directly impact what CRG delivers to the marketplace. It also signifies CRG's greater commitment to kart racing in America," Davies continued.
"I am pleased to see SSC East become CRG America - it helps strengthen the CRG name and brand in America," states Giancarlo Tinini, owner of CRG S.p.A. "They have been a strong partner for us over the years. Enhancing our relationship will be a great benefit to CRG drivers in the US, providing increased technical support and service, as well as helping in the continued development of CRG products for the American market."

North East Shifter Series

It has been a long time since there has been a shifter kart series in the Northeast, but thanks to Mike Rivera 2011 will mark the return of a shifter series to the area.
The series will consist of 4 races that will piggyback with the Northeast Rotax Series. The first race will be 4-16-11 at OVRP. Followed by a race at F1 Outdoors on 6-11-11 and then July 31st at New Hampshire International Speedway. The last race will be at New Jersey Motorsports Park on 10-22-11.
One of the best aspects of this series are the cash pay outs, yes real money for the top finishes.
Here is the website:
