Winning the New York state championship, the North East regionals and posting a 3rd fastest time in the prefinal race at the 2010 GNATS in Indiana with her 3-year old race kart against competitors on brand new equipment were additional highlights of the 2010 season.
Kristina’s 2011 season started with a bang at the WKA TAG race at Miami Speedway’s Homestead kart track on Jan 30. Posting the fastest lap of the race -- in her first race weekend at that track + first ever race in the senior TAG class -- against many local drivers she finished second with her Rotax-powered CRG, continuously reducing the gap to the leader.
Kristina’s goals for 2011 are to further improve her driving skills, winning more races along the way.http://www.kristinavorndran.com
