The Cooper Tires presents the USF2000 National Championship powered by Mazda invites you to participate in the first Mazda Road to Indy Oval Clinic. The Mazda Road to Indy Oval Clinic will be held Friday, May 6 at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway from 2:30-5pm ET and aims to teach drivers the essential skills of competing on an oval circuit. Topics to be covered include the basics of oval racing, proper car characteristics on ovals, qualifying techniques, racing strategies, spotters and more.
Special guest instructors include two-time Indianapolis 500 winner Al Unser Jr., 2005 Indianapolis 500 winner Dan Wheldon as well as Indianapolis 500 veterans Johnny Unser and Steve Knapp.

2:40-3:25pm: Expert panel instructs drivers on oval racing techniques
3:30pm: Summary of topics covered by panel
3:35-4:15pm: Pace Car rides around IMS with Al Unser Jr. and Dan Wheldon
4:15-5pm: Q&A session with instructors and closing remarks
